of MOVIEGUIDE, a family guide to enter-
tainment based on biblical values
and he writes a syndicated
column for 26 publicaitons nationwide.
He is chairman of the
Christian Film & Television
Commission, a non-profit organization,
committed to educating the entertainment
based on biblical values.
He has been featured on shows such
as Oprah, CNN, Geraldo,
Entertainment Tonight and the 700
Club. He is an award-winning
producer writer, director, radio personality
and scholar.

Award for the "Person Who Has Done

"Dr. Baehr noted, "When I started publishing
MOVIEGUIDE® magazine 17 years ago, there was
only one movie with positive Christian content
– THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL. I just did an
interview with the Billy Graham Evangelistic
Association and, at that time, we reminisced that
17 years ago they were just about the only company
producing pro-Christian movies – through
their World Wide Pictures company. Furthermore,
when we started our advocacy ministry, the
parent of MOVIEGUIDE® and Christian Film
& Television Commission®, in 1978, Bob Rieth's
Media Fellowship was the only known Christian
fellowship group in Hollywood. Those were the
days when you thought the church would never
change its negative attitude and that Hollywood
also would not change, but we have seen a great
transformation in both camps."
