Big Kenny (Alfin) of duo Big & Rich is recuperating from spinal surgery stemming from a car accident with a drunken driver over a year ago. Recovery is said to be lengthy.

 

The group Trailor Choir are now signed with Toby Keith's Show Dog Nashville label. They added Crystal Hoyt (associated with MuzikMafia) for harmony. They are currently on tour with Toby Keith. Their show is as fun as their music!

 

Sixwire were the runner-ups on the network show America's Next Great Band. The members all write and /or play with famed artists. Three members are in one of Nashville favorite local groups called the Small Time Rock Stars. For sure you can catch

them at the Tin Roof on Thursday or Friday nights - just call ahead! They are also the official band for the Nashville Predators!! Fun!

New up and coming joint  (rumor has it that free MuzikMafia nights may be there soon) Limelight - across the street from LP Stadium (where the Tennessee Titans play).

 

Of course, any traditional joint on Broadway still pulls up the nationally known artist or two - but wait until midnight or so - this is a "late" night town.

 

For lunch or dinner you will definitely see a famed "somebody" at the Cheesecake Factory in Green Hills or The Palm downtown. Just be ready to plunk down some change for your own meal!

 

For kids: I just saw Miley Cyrus at Southern Ice Skate Rink last week with her show co-star. She's here making a movie for a while and sometimes hangs with her old Brentwood friends.
