Dear Johnny Whiteside,

Prior to our first Rockin' Country Night show with Junior Brown at the world famous, don't need to

tell you that from the most famous club in the world...the Whisky A Go Go on June 12th.  I was in the

ad office buying an ad for our show, aside from the Whisky Ad...I had asked that a press pkt with

pictures of Junior and Leon Russell be sent to your office...along with comp tickets to you for said

I figure that you did not get the material not believing, though our ad was put at the beginning of the

sleeze area of the Weekly, that you would have thought it good enough show to put some mention in the

paper...if not for us, for ole hillbillys like Junior Brown and Leon, Asleep at the Wheel, Jack Ingram

Joe Ely, Rosie Flores and some other okies and outlaws like Shooter Jennings, that we are bringing

to town...a scene that is more than needed for this realm of artist...was this an oversight, or do you

not think this is a story worthy of your rag?

My best,

Benford Standley, Producer
